String Academy Class '09
Students ages 8 to 18 and with at least one year of string experience who can read music while playing are invited to participate in this three-day event. Using fun music from fiddling, mariachi and classical traditions students will prepare repertoire and play on stage with members of Quartet Sabaku. Topics covered include string technique, musicianship, and ensemble skills in both large and small groups.

Fees

Course Fee: $120
If Prescott Mailing Address, Acker Trust Fund Scholarship Applies: subtract $40
Limited number of need-based scholarships are available.

All late fees have been cancelled.

All sessions and performances are held at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 630 Park Avenue, in Prescott, AZ.

Academy Classes:
Wednesday, June 9 through Friday, June 11
9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Wednesday & Thursday
9:00 a.m. - noon Friday

Rehearsal and Performance:
Friday, June 11
5:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Parents, friends, and community members are invited to attend the 6 p.m. concert.
